Nosy Be to Nosy Mitsio : how to reach the archipelago?

Located northeast of Nosy Be, Grande Mitsio, commonly known as Nosy Mitsio, is the main island of the Mitsio Archipelago. There is no airport and not even a road : the only way to reach the island is by sea from Nosy Be.

The crossing from Nosy Be to Nosy Mitsio : the beginning of the adventure

We leave Nosy Be for Nosy Mitsio at 7 a.m., aboard our fast boat, reserved exclusively for your stay.

It takes around two hours to reach Grande Mitsio, depending on sea conditions. This fast, direct crossing means we arrive on the island early, giving you plenty of time to make the most of your first day.

Heading for the Mitsio Islands : a taste of freedom

The crossing often takes place in sunny weather, with calm, sparkling seas and sometimes some wonderful encounters along the way : dolphins, sea turtles and even humpback whales in season.

Shortly before reaching Nosy Mitsio, we pass close to the Four Brothers, imposing rocky monoliths rising out of the ocean. Inaccessible by land, they provide a haven for many seabirds and offer a first taste of the sense of escape that awaits.

The boat then remains at the group’s disposal throughout the stay, allowing you to explore the different islands of the archipelago and enjoy a range of water activities.
